a little piece of my thoughts

Assalamualaikum warahmatullahi wabarakatuh

My POV about K-POP
At the beginning of the very uneven semester in this university, I just surprised with K-POP things. When I was in the boarding school, I did not know what a k-pop is. Let us say, I have known Sm*sh, XOIX, Seven Icons, and Cherrybelle, but I did not have any idea about what genre that they play. I used to think that it was pop, but I directly changed my mind because, you know, they are just very different with pop bands I know like Peterpan (now it is called NOAH), Ungu, Padi (for the most of the songs are pop) and many more. They are just different. There is no musician and all the members are singers! However, they are famous. Well, this fact is really shocking me out. You know what I thought, “Oh come on, what are people thinking about! They are suck!” I know it was cruel, but that was the fact.

When I graduated from my boarding school, I got home, and, well, this group-of-singers-called-boy-band-or-girl-band thing rocks my hometown. When I watched TV, of course, at the time I was still trapped in my vile thoughts about they are suck, I was getting, what word you say if you really want to vomit so badly? I really cannot understand girlish boy’s purpose and philosophy, so you can imagine when I knew that there are some men, dancing, and it is modern dance.
Oh, come on! It is not cool at all.

In my eyes, break dance (now they transformed into BBoy), and hip hop dance (if you ever watch step-up, you will know what I am talking about) and ethnical dance are cool dances. But men and modern dance, what a combination! Look, anytime and anywhere if you find me enjoying this combination, kill me! Please, I beg you, Guys! That is the only way to save me. I know I know, I was short-minded or whatsoever you want to call me. That was my perspective about k-pop.

As the time goes by, I realize that it is my own problem and I must not involve other people in this case, moreover to hate or insult people who are love this combination. I also asked myself, what if all of you, have the same feeling and opinion about metal. I am pretty sure that you will hate me more than I will because I, somehow, very addicted with this genre. Moreover, I guess that I am the only student in the class right now who loves metal. It was me and Mayang, but now Mayang leave me alone (do not say “CIYEEEEEE” please).

Now, here I am. I have already managed my mind and thought about K-POP. I do not have any problem both with K-POP and their fans. But please, do not invite me to watch SUJU’s concert. I know what are you thinking about right now, deep down inside your heart you must be saying (there is nothing in the hel* I will invite you, A*****e!). It is alright, Guys! I understand and I am okay with that.

Look, do not ever think that I offense you or whatsoever. I do not mean that. I just want to share my feeling with all of you, who have willingness to read this. Forgive me, Guys. I know I should not write this, but my other self (oh, come on!) forces me to do this.

You know what, I guess in our class there are many varieties of music genre, and it is awesome. In K-POP and Pop there are many of us, Jazz we have Satrio, Japanese Rock we have Zulfa, Dangdut we have Qisthi, Rock we have Intan (with her Linkin Park), Nasyid we have Fia (maybe), and Metal you got me, Guys!
(I know your answer will be, ("B**ch please, who cares about metal?”)
(I know that and it is totally alright!)

In the end of this passage of reading comprehension, eh, I mean my writing, I want to say thank you very much for your attention, understanding, and willingness. Also I want to apologize to you (again), who love K-POP, as I said before; I do not have any intention to hurt your feelings.
